Superior Firefighters rescue deer trapped on the ice

The Superior Fire Department rescued a deer that was stranded on the ice of the St. Louis River on Wednesday. The information was shared on the departments Facebook page.

According to the post, Platoon 3 crews were called out Wednesday morning. Firefighters used their Ice rescue suits and their inflatable rescue craft to reach the deer. Crews went out on the ice and were able to bring the animal back to shore unharmed.
