This Saturday at the AMSOIL Arena, the Stars on Ice holiday show is bringing spectacular figure performances straight to Duluth.

Stars on Ice features multiple Olympians and U.S. Champions. Saturday’s show includes: Jason Brown; Alexa Knierim & Brandon Frazier; Mariah Bell; Kaitlyn Weaver & Andrew Poje; Keegan Messing; Satoko Miyahara; Kirsten Moore-Towers & Michael Marinaro; Elladj Baldé. Three-time World Champion and seven-time Canadian Champion Elvis Stojko will be hosting.

Olympic Bronze Medalist and U.S. Champion Jason Brown says that this show is a nice break from the stress of competition. “This [show] is just these incredible athletes, doing what they love, and kind of pouring their heart out for the audience,” he says.

Brown goes on to say, “I fell in love with the sport because of that kind of self expression component. I love the creative side. I love being able to emote to music and perform. And that is something that really does draw me in.”

When asked about the chance of people being inspired to skate from watching the show Brown says, “I implore people to go to a skating event live. Watch it, be immersed in it. It is so different then watching it on the TV.”
