Over the weekend 26 Slingshot riders gathered together for a weekend trip up in greater Minnesota. The group of riders made up of Wisconsin riders, Iowa riders, and members of the Twin Cities Riders eventually stayed at the Gardenwood Resort displaying all of their Slingshots.

Slingshot owner Tom Sparrow says, “I would say people who own a slingshot love to get a passenger in there that’s not ridden in a slingshot before because you’ll remember it, that’s all I’ll say . It’s an absolutely phenomenal experience.”

A Polaris Slingshot is classified as a motorcycle but it is so much more. It’s a open cabin three-wheeled vehicle that’s light weight and can reach pretty high speeds.

“It drives like a sports car,” says Sparrow, “it handles phenomenally, it’s got a great acceleration but you also have the ability to converse with your passenger next to you.”
