Public invited to discuss upcoming West Superior Street reconstruction

The community is invited to attend public meetings held by Duluth city officials on Wednesday, November 1st.

This is to discuss and give feedback for the upcoming construction that will be happening on West Superior Street between Carlton and West Michigan Streets.

To make sure everyone has the opportunity to attend these meetings, two of them well be held. One in person, and the other virtually.

The in person meeting will be held at Clyde Iron Works Malting Building, located at 2907 Helm Street in Duluth. The meeting will from from 4:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M.

Project design and engineering for the Superior Street reconstruction will occur through 2024, with construction being scheduled to take place starting in 2025 and lasting through 2028.

Some goals of the project include full reconstruction of the roadway and utilities, storm water drainage and infrastructure improvements, improvements to street lighting, pedestrian access, and more.
