Volunteers at Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank share the importance of the food bank’s work and the need in the area, as we get a look at distribution day, which happens every Tuesday morning at the food bank location in Duluth.

Through the compassion and commitment of donors, volunteers, agency partners, board and staff, they take a strategic approach to feeding the hungry of NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin. Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank is a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit and is the largest hunger-relief organization in the Northland. Each year they distribute over 7 million pounds of food, or enough food for 5.6 million meals, which feed approximately 44,000 of our Northland neighbors in need.
