New four-way stop to be added near Embarrass

Residents and drivers will notice a change near Embarrass. The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) says it will be installing a four-way stop at the intersection of State Highway 135 and County Highway 21. The change will be made on Monday, July 17.

According to MnDOT, new signs and pavement markings will be installed on Highway 135. Stop signs already exist on County Highway 21. MnDOT says changing the traffic control at this intersection from a two-way stop to a four-way stop will increase safety.

New signage will be placed on all approaches to the intersection warning drivers of the change.

Drivers are asked to use caution when going through the intersection while the changeover process is happening.
