Kenny Johnson opened the Duluth Playhouse fundraiser show Singing with the Stars Friday night with a bang! The fundraiser raises money for the Playhouses’ classes and the artists that work there.

Kenny sang ‘Roxie’ from the musical ‘Chicago’, which is sung by the lead role Roxie Hart as she develops a huge amount of fame after being locked up for murder. Which then Kenny added some personal touches to reference the media in Duluth and himself as a multimedia Journalist.

That night Kenny Johnson came in third place in the signing with the stars competition. With the Judges Pick going to Duluth School Board Member Stephanie Williams. 2nd place going to North Shore Bank Electronic Payments Manager Theresa Jacobson. And 1st place going to Northern News Now Meteorologist Hunter McCullough.
