On Saturday, March 2nd, state leaders gathered to encourage Minnesotans to vote “uncommitted” in the DFL Presidential Primary on Super Tuesday. This call to action is due to the fighting happening in Gaza.

Elected officials in Duluth gathered at the Minnesota Power Plaza downtown. Those who attended said they hoped to attract a diverse group of citizens and community leaders to have this discussion.
The event also posed as a ceasefire rally, a topic that city leaders say has been on going in council meetings.

“As a city council member, this coming week, I plan to bring a ceasefire resolution forward… We’ve been getting phone calls and emails from our residents from west to east about seeking a ceasefire resolution.”
