Justin Liles: Daily rainfall records could fall Thursday

February 7th: Rain tonight

Rain tonight

We are set to see a weather system move through the Northland beginning tonight and lasting until Friday morning. Light rain is possible through tonight before the main storm systems arrives. Rainy conditions will last through Thursday and the potential for daily rainfall records to fall is possible. A cold front move in Thursday night which would allow for a change over into some snow. Snow will wrap around the low Friday and winds will switch to the west-northwest with the potential for lake effect snow along the south shore this weekend. Drier conditions and cooler temperatures are expected through next Wednesday.
