Woman struck by train in Superior
A woman is dead after trying to walk across the rails and was struck by a train in Superior.
Saturday April 30th Superior Police responded to a report of a deceased woman on private property.
The body was reported by employees on the rail road tracks of the private property.
Officers say the initial investigation suggests that the deceased woman was struck by a train while trying to, “negotiate the tracks” according to the Superior Police Department. Meaning they suspect she was trying to walk across the rails.
The investigation is still ongoing and they says foul play is not suspected.
The department sends their sympathy to the victim’s family.
