Water begins to be restored in Morgan Park after water main breaks

Water is begining to be restored to Morgan Park neighborhood residents. City of Duluth operations crews have been repairing two water main breaks near the 9400 block of Grand Avenue.
Water is still off for people living in the Pleasant View Mobile Home Park. The duration of the repair is unknown at this time.
Morgan Park water update. As of 7:30am this morning 2/22/22 are restoring water to the Morgan Park neighborhood. Water will remain off to residents in the Pleasant View Mobile Home Park. Crews are working on repairing the water main to restore water to this group next.

A statement from the city Monday night said, "Crews will repair the break and restore water service as quickly as possible. The City would like to thank those affected for their patience during this time."

The city reported another water main break Tuesday morning on the 2300 block of Chambersburg Ave. Water was turned off on Chambersburg between Morris Thomas Road and Hutchinson Road.
