Volunteers helped beautify the garden of the YWCA’s Spirit Valley Young Mothers Housing Program Wednesday as part United Way’s day of Caring.

Natasha Lancour the Director of Young Mothers Supportive Housing Program shared information about the program during the event.

“Young Mom’s Program is transitional housing where we provide supportive resources in the community and parenting classes–as well as supporting young mom’s with jobs, job search, school readiness and just supporting them in whole as a family,” explained Lancour. “We provide housing for them and, so, when they actually transition they become self-sustainable and then transition out and have all the resources they need.”
