Minnesota Vikings descended on the house of the Agates Tuesday afternoon. Two Harbors football welcomed the Skol squad to their High School to host their traveling youth camp and help show local kids what it takes to compete at the next level.

The camp provided instruction for all types of positions, from quarterbacks to running backs and safeties.

"It’s a cool learning experiment," camper Carter Nelson said. "I can’t wait to learn what they can critique me about, and it’s cool that we have a Viking legend here as well."

David Dixon, a former NFL guard who played for the Vikings from 1994-2004, was one of the coaches for the camp.

"It’s just great to see the enthusiasm people have, the passion that they have coming to enjoy this great game, and I’m just happy that I get to teach them a couple things along the way," Dixon said.

Around 200 boys and girls from ages 6-14 attended the two hour camp.
