UWS womens hockey starts season with a bang

The University of Wisconsin Superior (UWS) dropped the puck on their home opener against Lawrence University Friday night.

Jackets were buzzing early and often to start the game rcording over 35 shots in the first period alone.

Agnese Apsite and Ella Reynolds tickled the twine for UWS ending the first period up 2-0.

They finish off the game winning by the final score of 8-0.

Rematch against Lawrence will be tomorrow at 2 p.m.
