UWS students took a break from classes Tuesday to stretch out and destress at goat yoga.

Duluth Goat Yoga brought over a few friendly goats, and they said the yoga part was optional. They just wanted to bring some smiles.

"The focus really is playing with the goals, getting goat cuddles, just providing a free, fun, really unique event for our students as a way to welcome them back to campus this fall," UWS Assistant Director of Student Involvement Allison Garver said.

Garvery said quite a few students signed up when registration opened, and many were disappointed that they couldn’t go if they had class at noon.

Duluth Goat Yoga can be booked online.
