UWS Men’s hockey team wins home opener

The University of Wisconsin Superior (UWS) Mens’s hockey team hosted the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) in their season opener on Saturday night.
Artur Terchiyev led the way for the Yellowjackets notching 2 goals, helping the team jump to and early 3-0 lead.
They would contine that pressure the whole game, all while being backstopped by Myles Hektor who collected the 26 save shutout.
UWS won by the final score of 7-0, and will play next Friday against Saint Mary’s.
