UWS holds off UW-Stout in 1st half but falls 2-0

On Wednesday the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) suffered a 2-0 shutout loss to the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
While the Yellowjackets held off the Blue Devils for a scoreless first half, Stout would strike twice in the second to seal the victory.
UWS keeper Jenna Lang tallied 12 saves in the road loss.
Next UWS (2-3) will open Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) play against Northland College on Saturday. Kickoff in Ashland is set for 4:30pm. For their full schedule, click here.
