UWS baseball falls to Crown in MIAC Championship

The University of Wisconsin Superior (UWS) was taking on Crown College in the MIAC Championship series.

Having won the first game UWS needed just one win against Crown on Saturday.

The Yellowjackets got off to a hot start in the first game, Issac Fugere would get the game started in the bottom of the first with a slide in RBI double.

Sam McNosky would then hit a sac-fly sending in another run, as UWS took a 3-0 lead into the second.

Crown would add seven unaswered runs, winning the game 13-5. Followed by the trophy clintiching match 7-2.

As the Yellowjackets end the season with a 19-21 record.
