UMD’s Pearson named nsic defensive player of the week

5th-year Linebacker Nate Pearson, awarded Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Defensive player of the week.
This past Saturday against MSU Moorhead, Pearson was able to notch eight total tackles, six of them being solo tackles.
The defensive pressure from Pearson set back the Dragons a total of 31 yards during Saturdays matchup.
Pearson is the third UMD player to earn an NSIC player of the week award during the 2021 campaign.
