The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey team is happy with production against St.Thomas.

During the 8-1 win on Saturday, six different players scored goals. The win marked the 20th of the season for the Bulldogs.

"I think we got used to the style of play, it’s really unique the way they play man on man in the defensive zone. So I think we got into exposing it yesterday, but we tried some different things today and found some success.I’m really happy with the way we played all weekend but, especially Saturday to put an exclamation point on it," said head coach Maura Crowell.

UMD will be back in action Tuesday against St. Cloud State.
