The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) volleyball team wasn’t able to notch their second straight upset, falling 3-0 to No. 14 St. Cloud State University Thursday in Duluth.

The Bulldogs had entered the match coming off a 3-2 victory over No. 20 Michigan Tech.

UMD was led by Grace Daak tallying nine kills, Sydney Lanoue with 13 digs, and Madison Gordon with 18 assists.

The loss snaps the Bulldogs’ five game win streak. Now 15-8, and 7-7 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) play, they’ll look to rebound Saturday visiting Bemidji State University in another NSIC matchup. First serve set for 4pm.
