UMD set to make first NCAA tournament apperence in 3 years

After Saturdays big come frome behing victory, the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) football team claimed the shared title of NSIC Champions, and a spot in the NCAA tournament.

On Sunday the Bulldogs next oppenent was revealed to be the No. 2 seed Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. This marks the first time since 2018 that UMD will compete in the tournament.

"Its fun just to see the reaction from our guys to know that we made the post season and have the oppurtunity to compete in the NCAA playoffs for the first time in 3 years. We are excited to get out of the snow and head to Texas," head coach Curt Weise stated.

Kickoff for UMD is set for Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
