UMD nabs No. 23 spot in AFCA national poll

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) football team was picked to finish first in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) North division, and now they’ve landed a national ranking.

The Bulldogs have taken over the number 23 spot in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Top 25 national poll released on Monday.

They’re one of just two NSIC teams to make the list. The other being Minnesota State University, Mankato earning the number two spot.
