UMD men’s, women’s hockey land at No. 8 in latest USCHO polls

Both the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s and women’s hockey teams landed in the number eight spots of their latest U.S. College Hockey Online (USCHO) polls.

The then-sixth ranked UMD men fell two spots after suffering back to back losses to number one Minnesota State University, Mankato over the weekend. The Bulldogs now sit 11-8-1 overall on the season.

Meanwhile the UMD women maintained their hold on 8th place after sweeping 10th ranked Harvard University for their third sweep of the season. They improved to 11-7 overall.

Both programs will head to St. Cloud State University this weekend. Puck drop for the women on Friday is set for 3:01pm and the men at 7:30pm.
