UMD men’s secure perfect home record, women earn 12th straight win over Bemidji State

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) basketball teams picked up the sweep over Bemidji State University (BSU) Thursday night.

The No. 13 Bulldog men snapped a two game losing skid downing the Beavers 88-73 to improve to 22-4. Joshua Brown and Drew Blair led UMD scoring 20 points a piece. With the win they secured their first perfect regular season home record since the 1990-1991 season.

Meanwhile the Bulldog women picked up their 12th straight win defeating BSU 76-54. Brooke Olson led the game scoring 23 points to lift UMD to a 20-4 overall record.

Both teams will close out their regular seasons on the road against the University of Minnesota Crookston Saturday. The wommen tip-off at 1pm and the men at 3pm.
