After securing a weekend sweep over Alaska Fairbanks the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) mens hockey team is now the number one ranked team in the nation.

They’ve taken over the top spot in the USCHO.com poll for the first time since October, 2019 when they were coming off back-to-back national titles.

The UMD women who are riding a split tournament in D.C, have remained in the top 10. Now tied for ninth with Harvard.

Also it’s still November. The Bulldogs Movember campaign is now over $8,700 of a new $10,000 goal to support men’s health and help goaltender Zach Stejskal.
