UMD men’s hockey takes over No. 2 spot in NCHC preseason poll

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey team landed second in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference’s (NCHC) Preseason Poll released on Wednesday.

Receiving 143 voting points they only finished behind St. Cloud State University with 195 points.

The Bulldogs finished third last season with a 13-9-2 record in the NCHC. For the full release, click here.

UMD is set to drop the puck on their 2021-2022 season with an exhibition match against the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Chippewa Falls on October 3. Their regular season begins Oct. 8 at Bemidji State University. For their full schedule, click here.
