The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey team was at home Saturday, looking to rebound from a 2-1 overtime loss on Thursday, against Minnesota State University Mankato.
After neither team would be able to find the back of the net after 20 minutes of action, it would be Mankato’s Sophomore defenseman Jake Livingstone who broke the ice.
UMD would try to push back the rest of the game, but Mavericks senior netminder Dryden McKay, stopped 23 shots in the 3-0 shutout loss.
