UMD men’s basketball stays undefeated, women top Minot

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s basketball downed Minot State University Friday night in Duluth to stay undefeated and earn their 10th straight win, while the Bulldog women earned their third consecutive victory over Minot.

The UMD men downed Minot 91-73. The Bulldogs were led by Joshua Brown scoring 22 points as one of six players to score in the double digits. Drew Blair followed tallying 16.

Now 10-0, UMD will look to continue their best start in program history Saturday host the University of Mary. Tip-off is set for 3:30pm at Romano Gym.

The UMD women took care of the Minot Beavers 72-54. Sarah Grow led the charge for the Bulldogs scoring tallying 16 points and 10 rebounds. They improve to 5-3 heading into a Saturday home game against U-Mary. Tip-off is set for 5:30pm.
