UMD men’s basketball falls in NCAA central region quarterfinals

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s basketball team was against Washburn in the NCAA central region quarterfinals.

The Bulldogs came into the matchup with a 25-5 record, Washburn with a 21-10 record.

Drew Blair led the team with 20 points, followed closely by Joshua Brown who went 3 for 6 from the arch for 19 points.

A tough game in the paint however, as the Bulldogs would only score 14 points compared to Washburns 40.

The dogs would let up 51 points in the second half of play, as Minnesota Duluth fell by the final score of 83-73.
