UMD men to tip-off inaugural Small College Basketball Champions Classic

After finishing their season with a 25-6 record in the NCAA tournament, the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s basketball team has received a one of a kind invitation.

The Bulldogs have been selected to compete in the inaugural Small College Basketball Champions Classic.

Taking place November 18th and 19th in Aberdeen, South Dakota, the tournament will showcase some of the best Division II teams from across the country.

The Bulldogs will face Point Loma Nazarene on Friday, November 18, followed by a rematch from this past season with Ferris State. UMD would defeat Ferris State 109-107 in double overtime.
