UMD Hall of Famer Tom Milani passes away

On Wednesday the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) announced former men’s hockey standout Tom Milani passed away earlier in the week.

The Bulldog Hall of Famer and Thunder Bay, Ontario native was 69 years old.

Skating in 146 games at UMD from 1972 to 1976, Milani netted 100 career goals which is the most of any player in Bulldog history.

The former captain went on to win two International Hockey League championships, then played nine more seasons professionally in Italy and represented the country at the 1984 Winter Olympics.
