The University of Minnesota Duluth and head football coach Curt Wiese have agreed to a three-year contract extension on Sunday.

The deal will keep Wiese on the UMD sideline through the 2024-25 season.

"It’s an exciting thing definitely for myself and my family, but more importantly to our staff and our program. To have the support from our administration to continue to make sure that our program stays on the track that we are on. So when you get a contract extension, this is about our staff and the student athletes that we have," coach added.

He has just completing his ninth year with the Bulldogs, and 14th year with the program. In that span he has led the dogs to a 80-18 overall record.
