UMD basketball teams secure NCAA tournament berths

It was a super busy selection Sunday as UMD men, and women basketball teams had a combined watch party for their selection show.
The men’s squad will be taking on Washburn in the central region quarterfinals, hosted by Augustana.
The women earn a No.3 spot and will face off against Nebraska-Kearney.
This was the men’s team first bid since 2003, while the women will be heading to the tournament four years in a row.
