Two arrested, multiple drugs and weapons seized after lengthy investigation in rural Walker

Police say that two men have been arrested and multiple drugs and weapons have been seized, following a lengthy investigation into the sale and use of controlled substances in rural Walker.

This comes after the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department conducted a search warrant at a residence in Turtle Lake Township, which is located in rural Walker, on Friday.

Police say that several items of suspected controlled substance were seized from the residence, including approximately 104 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 2,151 grams of suspected marijuana, 141 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 1,736 grams of psilocybin mushrooms candy bars, 476 grams of suspected marijuana wax and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.

Additionally, police seized firearms, ammunition and money suspected to be related to the sale of controlled sustances.

Police arrested a 42-year-old man from Walker and a 19-year-old man from Walker at the residence.

Both are facing charges of 1st Degree Controlled Substance Sales and Possession, 5th Degree Sales and Possession, Felon in Possession of Firearms and Child Endangerment.
