Twin Port auto care centers and repair shops give out $9K in certificates

Owner’s of nine NAPA AutoCare Center businesses across the Twin Ports gave out $9,000 dollars in car repair certificates Wednesday afternoon.

Nine indivuals and families were selected to win $1,000 each.

“These families have been nominated by their loved ones in the community and we reviewed them, each shop owner reviewed their nominees, and picked one that they felt was the most deserving,” explained Brad Williams of Brad’s Auto Clinic.

“We’ve been fortunate enough and blessed to be in the position that were able to afford this. We have this group of AutoCare Centers and Repair Shops and we collaborate and pool our money and then we spend it on things like this,” further elaborated Williams. “We just do it because we can and we love to do it and we know that there are deserving people out there that really need a hand.”
