TikTok policy changes, Apple Tap to Pay, Google Chrome Journeys

TikTok says it will strengthen its policies to promote safety, security, and well being. The social media site has also banned misgendering trans people. The company has faced criticism for harboring harmful content.

A new feature on Google Chrome let’s you revisit your old searches. After typing a word into the address bar that’s related to a previous search, the Journeys feature will give users an option to resume your research. Specific sites can be deleted and the feature can be turned off entirely.

Apple has announced a new Tap to Pay feature, which would allow people to make purchases from businesses by tapping their Iphones together. It rolls out later this year and also works with contactless credit cards essentially turning Iphones into payment terminals without extra hardware.
