The return of the Glensheen Christmas tour

It’s Christmas time once again at the Glensheen’s mansion. Today kicked off Glensheen’s self-guided Christmas tour.
Inside the 39 room mansion, there are 25 Christmas trees, 25 hidden elves for you to find and so much more to see. We got chance to tour the property today, and it was just breath taking.
The holidays were a major staple in the Congdon family. The Christmas tour has become one of Duluth’s plethora of holiday tours.
"Christmas we near and dear to their hearts. They celebrated the Christmas season together. They would spend their Christmas meals down in the amusement room, and have all kinds of fun opening presents. So we like to continue that tradition of celebrating the Christmas holiday and welcoming the community into the mansion to enjoy the holiday season" said marketing manager Jane Jandl.
The self-guided Christmas tour will be offered daily and continue through January 8th. The mansion will be closed on thanksgiving and Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Tickets for the tour can be purchased online at https://bit.ly/GlensheenXmas.
