The Duluth Public Library is hosting a Star Wars Escape Room for a limited time

The Duluth Public Library is where you should visit to see if the ‘force’ is on your side. For a limited time only, the library will be hosting a ‘Star Wars Escape Room’ event.

There have been events like this in the past with a ‘Harry Potter’ escape room, but this time they deiced to do something a little different.

"So Star Wars is just really popular now because they keep coming out with new movies and new shows. Right now, The Mandalorian is popular on Disney, so we thought that it’s something that appeals to a lot of age groups and families. So, that is why and it gives us a good theme so that we can try and make this look like a starship is what our goal was,” says Heidi Harrison, Senior Library Technician in Youth Services.

In creating this event, the library employees wanted to get people back into the building, showing and reminding them of everything the library has for the community.

“We want to bring people to the library. We want to make sure that people are aware that the library is here for them for books, movies, and other fun things.”

You can try your luck at escaping the Star Wars room at the Duluth Public Library now until January 22nd.
