Veterans, active military members, and their families were served a Thanksgiving meal, along with lots of desserts at the Bong Center in Superior.

Meals could either be picked up curbside, delivered to residences or people could opt to sit right there at the bong and eat. This holiday can be hard on families, so the bong wants to help as much as they can.

Brill, the bong gift shop manager said, “This is one little piece of thing we can do. Every time I get a call from someone saying, "Hey, can I come and eat here for Thanksgiving. I’m disabled, I think I can come in. Can you deliver? It’s amazing what little things we can do and how they appreciate it.”

Being able to serve our veterans during this times is amazing! Just to let them know that they are not alone. In total, the center cooked enough food to sever around 225 people.
