Ten people displaced from a structure fire Friday night in Duluth

Ten people and a dog were displaced from a structure fire last night in Duluth. The incident occurred just before 9:30pm on the 600 block of east 4th street.

When crews arrived on scene, smoke was showing from the second story. As the fire progressed more man power was called to the scene

A total of six adults, four children, and a dog were displaced due to the fire. And since then the Red Cross announced they with be assisting the families.

The damage to the building is estimated to be $65 thousand dollars and no one was injured during the fire.

During the incident, multiple cars ran over fire hoses that were being used to fight the fire. The Duluth fire department would like to remind the public how detrimental this act could be for those who are on the other end of that hose line.
