Team Shuster finishes fourth in fight for Bronze

Team Shuster finishes in fourth in the 2022 Winter Olympics. They lost bronze to Canada in a score of 8-5 early Friday morning.

Team Shuster tweeted on Friday, "We came up short and congratulate Canada on winning bronze. It was an incredible ride with all of you once again. Thank you to every USA Curling fan and all the new #curling diehards who became fans over the last few weeks. We heard you. We felt you with us. We thank you."

According to USA Curling, this is the first time in Olympic history the U.S. played for its second consecutive medal.

Shuster’s team brought home the gold in 2018.

The chance to reclaim the top spot was lost, when they lost to Great Britain in the semifinals on Wednesday.
