It’s a MLB fan’s dream to throw the first pitch of a game, and one Northlander has been selected to do just that.

The Milwaukee Brewers have picked Superior Choice Credit Union CEO Tim Foster to throw the first pitch July 24th against the Colorado Rockies.

On Thursday Foster tagged along to practice with the Superior Spartans baseball team to get in a few throws ahead of hitting the big mound at American Family Field.

"It’s been a while, that’s why we’re here with Superior High School. [They’re] trying to teach me to re-throw a ball and get the ball 60 feet, that’s what I’m trying to aim for." Foster said. "Just extremely lucky to have that opportunity to represent credit unions, to represent Superior Choice Credit Union, to represent the Twin Ports. Just an awesome opportunity for everyone involved."

The game he is throwing the first pitch in is the night the Brewers are honoring all Wisconsin credit unions.
