Superior tops Chippewa Falls to advance to WIAA sectional finals

On Wednesday the Superior boys hockey team downed Chippewa Falls to advance to the sectional finals.
The seventh seeded Spartans defeated the sixth seeded Cardinals 4-3.
They’ll face top-seeded Hudson for the Division 1 Section 1 championship Friday at 7:30pm.
In Division 2 Rice Lake defeated Hayward 4-1 to advance to the finals. The Hayward girls downed Superior 7-5 to advance to the girls sectional championship game.
