Superior mobile home complete loss after fire

A Superior mobile home is considered a total loss after it caught fire early Wednesday morning.

Superior firefighters responded to 4920 St. Croix Drive just before 12:30 Wednesday morning. Crews on scene found the fire coming out of the roof and most of the windows of the home. Fire crews were on scene for about three hours fighting the fire from the outside due to heavy smoke and structural damage.

Superior Police Officers were able locate one of the residents who is safe and was staying with a family member.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The Superior Fire Department estimates $50,000 in damages.
