Superior boys, Hayward girls run away with Dennis Simpson track & field Invite

On Friday the Superior boys and Hayward girls prep track and field teams took first place in the Dennis Simpson Invitational held on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS).
The Hayward girls finished with 155.83 points while the Superior boys team finished with 119 points.
In the boys 4×800 relay, Superior took first place behind anchor Edward Hawkinson as the Spartans finished with an official time of 9:14.04.
Ashland swept the 55 meter hurdles with Grace Moravchik taking the girls title with a time of 9.46, and Cody Lustig earning the Oredockers boys victory with a state top ten time of 7.90.
