The Beargrease is about to begin. And one musher has some extra support behind him, from the Range.

The PathBlazers Snowmobile Club donated $200 in Ryan Redington’s name to the marathon. They wanted to do something after a snowmobiler in Bayfield County ran into Redington’s team.

Dan Marich, president of PathBlazers, told us, "It’s hard not to have that strike you right in the heart, hearing what happened. I sent a mass email to the club, and got a lot of responses back, saying we should make a donation to help Ryan Redington and his team."

The GoFundMe for the dog was at its max, so they donated to the race instead. "We’re a progressive club, and want to be involved in the community," Marich added.
