The Salvation Army is sending two mobile canteens to the International Falls area to support volunteers and first responders who are sandbagging during ongoing flooding.

The canteens will offer food, hyrdation, and counseling in International Falls and Kabetogama.

They are part of the Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Services operations and come with volunteer teams. The canteens came from the Twin Cities and Duluth.

The Salvation Army says as of Monday, 59 EDS staff and volunteers have provided more than 8,000 meals, snacks, and beverages.
