Robert Tate Football Camp coming soon

Calling all youth football players! Coach Shaun Howard is bringing the Robert Tate Youth Football Camp to Hibbing this summer. The camp will be held on Friday, June 10 at the Lincoln school fields in Hibbing. This camp is open to athletes from all over the region.

Robert Tate was drafted as a wide receiver by the Minnesota Vikings in 1997. He later switched to cornerback midway through the 1999 season. Tate played nine seasons in the NFL, also playing for the Baltimore Ravens and Arizona Cardinals.

The Robert Tate Youth Football Camp is broken into two sessions, one for younger players and the other for high school athletes.

3rd – 8th grade players: 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
9th – 12th grade players: Noon – 4 p.m.

The cost is $25 per player. Scholarships are available.

Athletes should bring drinking water, athletic attire, and football cleats or tennis shoes. The kids will receive a signed picture of Robert Tate, and there will be jerseys available for purchase at the camp.
