The Proctor Rails boy’s soccer team played host to the Duluth Marshal Hilltoppers Wednesday night, in the Section 7A Championship.

With rain pouring down, both teams took a scoreless game into the second half.

Then it was Proctor breaking the stalemate in the second quarter, while also being backstopped by Colin Aho who pitched a shutout performance.

This allowed the Rails to move on to the state tournament winning by the final of 3-0.

The Class A state tournament kicks off October 26.
